Crewe winger Byron Moore is relishing the new season after he signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The versatile 22-year-old made 43 appearances last season, scoring six times.
Since making his debut for the Alex in 2007, Moore has made over 80 starts and looks set to play a vital part in the campaign for the Railwaymen.
He told Crewe Alex Player: "I needed the time to sit down with my agent and think about my options but this was the decision I wanted.
"My aim is to improve from last year. Hopefully I can get in to the box more and score more goals as well as creating more chances for others.
"I doubled my goal tally last season from the year before so my aim is to do that again. I'm looking forward to the start of the new season."
