Bradford are one of the clubs chasing out-of-contract Crewe striker Clayton Donaldson, according to Alex boss Dario Gradi.

Donaldson finished the season as the top scorer in League Two with 28 goals but could leave Gresty Road on a free transfer next month.

The 27-year-old has been offered a new deal by Crewe, although Blue Square Bet Premier champions Crawley have expressed an interest in signing the former Hibernian and York player.

Gradi revealed that Bradford are now also monitoring Donaldson's situation.

He told the Sentinel: "I've heard Bradford have expressed an interest in Clayton but he's on holiday at the moment so I would think he's not made up his mind yet, or is still listening to offers."

Meanwhile, 18-year-old full-back Andy White has signed a one-year professional contract with the club.
