Burton have rejoined the race to sign Crewe striker Calvin Zola, according to Alex boss Dario Gradi.
The 26-year-old has been given the green light to leave Gresty Road and has held talks with several clubs, with the Brewers emerging as the latest interested party having already previously been linked with the forward when he first became available last year.
"Calvin and his agent have been circulating his availability to a number of clubs and if I am honest I don't know where he wishes to go. It is out of my hands and up to him," Gradi told the Crewe Chronicle.
"Burton think they are going to be able to sign him so that's probably the most positive thing I can tell you at the moment."
