Linganzi and Ellington added to squad ahead of Leicester game

Preston North End have completed the double loan signing of Blackburn Rovers midfielder Amine Linganzi and Watford striker Nathan Ellington. The players become new Preston manager Phil Brown's first signings since he was confirmed as Darren Ferguson's successor last week. Linganzi has arrived at Deepdale on loan from Blackburn for the rest of the season in a bid to gain more first-team experience in English football. The 21-year-old joined Rovers from St Etienne 12 months ago, but he has been restricted to just four appearances for the club. He is likely to be in Preston's squad for Saturday's Championship game against Leicester City and could be joined in the team by Ellington. Sky Sports revealed earlier on Thursday that Ellington had earned a deal with the Lilywhites after impressing in training over the past few days. Ellington, who scored twice for the reserves on Wednesday, joins Preston on loan from Watford for the remainder of the campaign.
