Crewe Alexandra striker Shaun Miller has become the latest young player to commit his future to the Railwaymen.

The 23-year-old striker was set to be out of contract at the end of the season but has signed a new two-year deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2013. He follows fellow academy products AJ Leitch-Smith, Luke Murphy, Matt Tootle and Ashley Westwood in signing new terms. Miller, Crewe's joint-leading scorer this season with eight goals, told the club's official website: "I am delighted to have signed again. "You do worry when you are out of contract and you have to take a bit of time to think about things, but I was more than happy to sign. "I have been at Crewe for a long time and I am happy to sign and push on again. I am in the team and I am enjoying my football."
