Torquay defender Mark Ellis has signed a new two-year contract at Plainmoor.
Ellis helped his side to keep a clean sheet in the final-day goalless draw against Notts County which helped set a new club record.
The promising stopper, who has been a key figure in the Gulls' defence this season, has made 27 League Two appearances this term.
The 21-year-old's new deal will keep him with the League Two outfit until June 2012.
