Crewe boss Dario Gradi believes top scorer Calvin Zola will be 'decent bet' for teams in January.
Crewe boss Dario Gradi believes top scorer Calvin Zola will be 'decent bet' for teams seeking a goal threat in the January transfer window.
Championship side Peterborough have already been linked with the 24-year-old frontman, who has 13 goals in the current campaign.
Zola cost the Railwaymen £200,000 from then League One rivals Tranmere in July 2008, but scored just six times in his first season at the Alexandra Stadium as the team were relegated to the bottom tier of the Football League.
Gradi said: "Calvin has no great record of scoring goals, but he's scoring them this season.
"He's been running towards their goal, more than facing towards ours. If people want that type of player, I think he's a decent bet."
