Darran Kempson and Michael Higdon could both be on the way out of Crewe Alexandra in the summer.
Former Morecambe defender Kempson is currently on loan at Bury, having made just 10 appearances for Crewe since joining last summer.
He is keen to stay at Gresty Road, but also has clubs in League One and Two on his trail as he waits for a decision from Dario Gradi.
"I'd like to stay at Crewe, but it is a question of what they have got to offer and whether there are first-team opportunities," Kempson told The Sentinel.
"I have been playing regularly at Bury and hopefully there are people watching me."
Crewe boss Gradi is also weighing up whether to offer Higdon a new deal, with the forward having scored 10 goals in 87 appearances for the club.
Gradi told Crewe's official website: "I've spoken to Michael about a new contract, but I will speak to him again at great length. I think it is important for him to know where he is in the batting order here.
"We think that Michael needs a proper season. He is at an age where he needs to be playing games on a regular basis.
"He has a lot of potential, but we don't know if he wants to stay here and fight for his place or maybe he wants to go elsewhere and have a fresh start."
