Crewe's Jon Otsemobor will miss six weeks of football after tearing his hamstring.
Crewe defender Jon Otsemobor will miss at least six weeks of football after tearing his hamstring in the game against Doncaster Rovers.
The right-back, who signed from Liverpool in January 2006, suffered a grade one tear to the muscle.
His absence means former Chelsea youngster Danny Woodards, who signed from Exeter on the final day of the January transfer window, will be given an extended run in the side.
"Jon looks like being out for at least six weeks," manager Dario Gradi told the club's official website.
"He has suffered a grade one tear as they call it, and it is a shame for him and for us.
"Therefore, it is just as well we have been able to sign Danny. He has come in and done very well for us. As normally happens, one player's misfortune has been another player's opportunity."
