Gillingham have sealed the signing of Millwall goalkeeper Stephen Bywater on loan until January 3.
The experienced stopper will go straight into the squad for Saturday's League One match against Yeovil at Priestfield.
Bywater has racked up over 300 professional appearances including top-flight spells with West Ham and Derby.
The 33-year-old is eligible to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and Capital One Cup, however is not able to complete in the FA Cup.
Bywater's arrival is a timely boost for the Gills as number-one keeper Stuart Nelson is expected to be out of action for around six weeks with a thumb injury.
