Millwall captain Paul Robinson has pledged his future to the Lions after penning a new three-year contract to keep him at The Den until 2015.
The defender is recovering from a double hernia operation and was unable to partake in the club's pre-season trip to Ireland but hopes to be back in action when the new campaign gets underway.
Robinson has been on the Lions' books since he signed his first professional deal in 2001, spending two stints on loan at non-league Fisher Athletic and Torquay.
The 30-year-old, who has already notched up nearly 300 appearances for Millwall, has set his sights on eventually beating the career records set at the club by Keith 'Rhino' Stevens and Barry Kitchener.
He told Millwall's official website: "Obviously I'm delighted to know I'll be at Millwall for the next three years.
"I've got my sights set on the career records of Rhino and Kitch, and while I've got a long way to go yet I'm going to give it my best shot.
"I'm now looking forward to joining the rest of the squad when they get back from Ireland and hopefully I'll be raring to go when the season starts on 14th August."
