Whites could retain on-loan Wolves striker

Simon Grayson is refusing to rule out Leeds United retaining striker Andy Keogh when his loan from Wolves ends. The 25-year-old is due to return to Molineux after Monday's Championship clash with Burnley at Elland Road. Keogh has done a job for Leeds with his work rate impressing many, although he has scored only two goals in 23 appearances. Grayson has a limited budget in which to utilise in the New Year and he is mulling over whether to spend it in attacking areas.

Strengthen

"Nothing's been confirmed," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "But we've got certain areas of the pitch that we need to strengthen and I've got X-amount of money to spend. "Wolves are looking to do permanent business and they wouldn't be loaning him back out again until the end of the window. "I've got funds to strengthen and I've got to analyse where the most crucial areas are but that's not to say we won't do anything with Andy."
