Jackett stands firm on valuation of defender

Millwall have rejected an offer from Reading for their skipper Paul Robinson and insisted they will not let him go on the cheap. Skysports.com revealed earlier on Monday that the Royals were lining up a move for Robinson after identifying him as somebody who could fill the void left by Matt Mills' move to Leicester. The 29-year-old centre-half has been at The Den all his career after turning professional 10 years ago and has made 291 appearances for the Lions. Boss Kenny Jackett said: "In the current market the offer we have received for our captain falls way below my valuation of him. "We are not looking to sell Paul, nor am I under any pressure from the board to sell him. "However, I know every player does have his price, but if we were to accept an offer for Paul the amount would have to reflect the current market in the Championship and be of a level that will financially change the landscape of our season."
