The former Norwich keeper has inked a one-year extension to keep him at the Ricoh Arena until 2009.
The 33-year-old was delighted to sort out his future at the Championship strugglers.
"I've really enjoyed my time with Coventry City," Marshall told the club's official website.
"It's a great club and I feel that we have the potential to progress, especially under the new regime.
"This season has been difficult for a number of reasons, but I firmly believe that good times are ahead and I'm looking forward to working with everyone at the club for another year."
