Hearts winger Chris Hackett has finally completed his return south of the border, to join League One outfit Millwall.
New Tynecastle boss Valdas Ivanauskas told the player he could leave the club earlier in the summer and he impressed on a two-week trial in South London.
The details of the deal for the former Oxford United man have now been finalised and the 23-year-old is delighted to have now officially joined Nigel Spackman's side on a two-year deal.
"I was always confident it would go through," Hackett revealed.
"It was just about the final details of the agreement.
"I am just looking forward to playing now."
Hackett is Spackman's 15th new signing at The Den, and joins new French duo Samy-Oyame Mawene and Zoumana Bakayoko at Millwall.
The news will come as a welcome boost to the Lions faithful as the manager looks to rebuild the squad after last term's disappointing relegation.
