Injuries Stack up for Lions

Millwall goalkeeper Graham Stack is likely to be out of action until March.

Millwall goalkeeper Graham Stack is likely to be out of action until March due to a knee injury.

Stack was hurt during a training session on Tuesday and is expected to undergo an operation on his cartilage.

The 23-year-old, who is on loan for the season at The Den from Arsenal, is waiting for a scan to confirm the extent of the damage.

He is then likely to go under the surgeon's knife and is anticipated to require six weeks before being ready for a return to the first team.

"Graham twisted his knee in training yesterday while he was doing some kicking practice," Lions physio Gerry Docherty told the club's official website.

"We examined him and are 99 percent sure that he has torn his medial meniscus, his cartilage."
