NEIL HARRIS looks set to be fit for the start of the new season but the news is not so good for Millwall team-mate Mark McCammon.

Forward Harris sat out Wednesday night's friendly with Bristol City after suffering a slight calf strain in training but looks likely to be ready for the first league fixture on August 9.

Strike partner McCammon has not featured in any of the club's pre-season friendlies and manager Mark McGhee is not confident the player will be ready in time.

"Mark is still having problems that we are finding difficult to resolve," the Lions boss told the club's website.

"He has got some bone bruising, which is basically something akin to a compression injury and can take a long, long time to heal.

"Each time he goes out after a while he breaks down, it's a difficult one to resolve."
