Only Teddy Sheringham stands above the 25-year-old striker now but Harris believes he will soon overtake the Tottenham star's magical target of 93.
"I don't keep a check on the stats but loads of people around me do," said the forward.
"Apparently I'm just 13 behind Teddy and I'm determined to beat him.
"Second place means nothing to me, I want to be first.
"I want to be remembered here as top scorer of all-time and, if I'm going to take over from anyone, there's no better than Teddy.
"I've met him a couple of times and have a lot of respect for him. It's not a question of if but when.
"Maybe it won't happen this year but I'd be disappointed if I don't do it next season."
