MILLWALL climbed up to second place in the league, with a 2-1 away win at Bristol Rovers.
In-form striker Neil Harris gave the visitors the perfect start, scoring after five minutes, but The Lions were then guilty of squandering a host of first-half chances.
Paul Moody was denied by keeper Nick Culkin and David Livermore hit the post.
It looked as if the wasted efforts would haunt Milwall, as Martin Cameron levelled the scores shortly after half-time.
However, The Lions took all three points as Steven Reid fired home a free-kick with quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
The visitors` night was marred slightly by the dismissal of defender Stuart Nethercott with just over 10 minutes left on the clock.
