Flynn targets Rovers success

New boss Brian Flynn revealed he had big plans for Doncaster after opening his reign with a 2-0 victory over Leyton Orient.

Flynn, who watched Rob Jones and Chris Brown find the net in either half, has only been given a contract until the end of the season. But he said: "The length of contracts has never concerned me. It's only a piece of paper. I've got big plans for the club - this season and next season. "The chairman has already said he wants to win the title so no pressure there. But I agree with him. "We're in a good position, joint top with a game in hand, and I've never liked to settle for second best. "It was nice to kick-off with a win but I've inherited a good side here. The teamwork is superb, but maybe we can get a bit more from the players individually. "We became a little bit sloppy in the second half but overall I thought we were convincing the way we went about the job. "Some of our attacking play was top notch and we could have scored a few more goals. "We've got a couple of weeks off now and that's good in a way because it gives us more time to work and improve on the training ground."
