South Africa star needs to acclimatise according to agent

Bongani Khumalo's agent claims the Tottenham defender will have to go out on loan again next season in order to gain first-team football. The South Africa international has yet to make an appearance for Harry Redknapp's UEFA Champions League chasers since his move from SuperSport United 14 months ago. And the player's agent Matt Kleinman believes the 25-year-old, who recently enjoyed loan spells at Championship clubs Preston North End and Reading, should be allowed to leave White Hart Lane on loan during pre-season. "It's going to be very difficult to get into the Spurs team but Bongani has absolute faith in his own ability," Kleinman told KickOff.com. "He's still relatively young and it was always going to take a little bit of time to move on to the next level. "Maybe he will go out on loan, who knows? That's very much down to Spurs and how he gets on over the next couple of months and in pre-season. "It takes players a while to acclimatise to football over here but I think next season will be very different for Bongani."
