Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones has signed a new deal at the club.
The Australian custodian has inked a three-and-half-year deal to keep him at the Riverside until 2012.
Boro boss Gareth Southgate was delighted to resolve Jones' future.
"Brad has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal, that's done and I'm delighted with that," Southgate told the club's
official website.
"Brad feels the challenge here is one he's prepared to take on. I've said all along there's very little to choose between our goalkeepers
"I'm pleased to get Brad signed up because I know he's going to be a very good goalkeeper
Southgate is also hopeful fellow goalkeeper Ross Turnbull will soon sign a new contract on offer to him.
"Ross is still in negotiations and we hope to complete those shortly," added Southgate.

Meanwhile, striker Jeremie Aliadiere could be out of action for up to eight weeks through injury.
Aliadiere picked up an ankle injury during last weekend's FA Cup third-round win over non-league Barrow and scans have shown he has suffered damaged ligaments.
The former Arsenal man is now expected to be sidelined for two months and the news is a massive blow for Southgate.
"Jeremie will be possibly six to eight weeks out with ankle ligament damage," noted Southgate.
"Immediately after the game we were upbeat because there was no break, but unfortunately he's going to be missing for a while."
