Doncaster Rovers are set to sign trialist Gordon Greer on a two-year deal.

The contract is subject to a medical, but Greer has impressed Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll enough to be offered terms at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Greer, a Scotland B international, has spent the last three seasons with Kilmarnock but has been attracted by a possible move south as O'Driscoll looks to bring in defensive cover for the injured Graeme Lee and Stephen Roberts.

The 26-year-old, who has also spent a season at Blackburn, has made 119 appearances and scored three goals in his time with Kilmarnock.
