Setback for Rovers striker

Doncaster Rovers striker Mark McCammon could miss the rest of the season.

Doncaster Rovers striker Mark McCammon could miss the rest of the season with a dislocated shoulder.

McCammon suffered the injury towards the end of the first half in Tuesday's 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest.

He will be out for at least six weeks, but Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll concedes he may have to do without the player for the remainder of the campaign.

"Mark has a dislocated shoulder and will possibly be out now for the rest of the season," O'Driscoll told the club's official website.

"It's a blow to lose another striker to injury, but we have cover in depth in this department.

"The players called upon to play their part will acquit themselves admirably as they always have done."

Since joining Doncaster from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, McCammon has scored five times in 30 appearances.
