Stephen Vaughan has threatened to call off Chester City's hunt for Ricky Ravenhill unless the player makes a swift decision on his future.
The Cheshire outfit agreed a deal with Doncaster Rovers for his services last month, but as yet the 25-year-old has failed to concur on terms.
With Ravenhill continuing to stall on joining Chester, Vaughan has urged the midfielder to make up his mind otherwise the club will look elsewhere for reinforcements.
"This whole saga is becoming most annoying," explained Vaughan to the Daily Post.
"Doncaster Rovers have been excellent in the way they've handled the matter, but the player's agent is not helping the situation.
"I have spoken to the agent and told him to give us a decision on our offer quickly, or the deal is off.
"If the player comes to us that would be excellent. If he doesn't we must look for another midfield player."
