Doncaster have released six first team players as manager Dave Penney shifts his focus towards next season.
Leo Fortune-West, Alun Armstrong, Mark Albrighton, Jermaine McSporran, Simon Marples and Richard Offiong have been informed that their futures lie elsewhere.
Striker Fortune-West had been a Rovers regular, but he has paid the price for netting just four goals all season.
Penney has also made midfielder Richard Ravenhill, goalkeeper Tonny Nielsen and defender Philip McGuire available for transfer.
The club remain in talks with 24 year-old New Zealand international Dave Mulligan, who made more than 30 appearances this season.
Doncaster just missed out on a place in the League One play-offs, and will be hoping to challenge for promotion again next term.
