Oxford have snapped up Doncaster midfielder Anthony Griffiths.
The 18-year-old has moved to the Kassam Stadium on loan until the end of the season.
New Oxford boss Darren Patterson is keen to bolster his squad as he looks to guide the side to safety in League Two.
Griffiths could go straight into the squad for Oxford's game with Bury on Tuesday.
Rovers boss Dave Penney is happy to loan out Griffiths so that he can gain valuable first team experience.
"It will allow us to see him play at a higher level than he is used to on a more regular basis," Penney told the club's official website.
