League One side Doncaster Rovers have put Fran Tierney and John McGrath up for sale.
The midfield duo have been chucked onto the transfer list after failing to secure regular first team football this season.
Tierney has been restricted to a solitary appearance and has struggled with injuries since Rovers returned to The Football League.
McGrath has spent the past two months on loan at Shrewsbury Town and has now been informed he is no longer required by Doncaster.
Rovers boss Dave Penney feels the size of his Belle Vue squad means there is little prospect of either player forcing their way into his plans.
"Since we came back into the league, he's (Tierney) never had a run in the side because of his injuries," said Penney.
"Both he and John want to play regular football and they haven't had the opportunity to do that.
"It's one of the consequences of having a big squad, you can't keep everyone happy and it's a case of leaving places for other players."
