Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of defender Adam Dugdale on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old left Crewe on Tuesday afternoon after over 140 appearances for the Railwaymen and Micky Adams moved quickly to secure the centre-back on a six-month deal with the option of a further year. "I'm really pleased to be able to bring Adam in," Adams told the club's official website. "He's a strong, determined defender who has a lot of experience at this level and higher. "Adam is a local lad, he's been here before and he's a good addition to our squad."
