Wolves striker Jake Cassidy is set to complete a third loan move to Tranmere this week.

Rovers boss Ronnie Moore confirmed Cassidy, who is popular at Prenton Park having scored 16 goals during his two spells with the club, is back training with the League One outfit ahead of a move he predicts will be completed on Friday. The 20-year-old will join on a three-month basis. "I'm delighted to be able to bring Jake back to Prenton Park," said Moore. "He has had two fantastic loan spells here already and I'm sure he will do just as well in his third. "He's a goalscorer who will add to our attacking options. He works hard, he leads the line and he's got a fantastic attitude and l'm looking forward to seeing him in a Tranmere shirt again." Cassidy has played 18 times for parent club Wolves this season but has failed to find the net. He has enjoyed far greater fortune at Tranmere, though, scoring 11 times in 28 appearances at the start of the the last campaign, and a further five in 10 games two seasons ago.
