Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore has voiced his satisfaction with a home tie in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
Rovers were paired with Mansfield in Monday morning's draw and Moore, who hopes to add to his squad this week, insists the Football League new-boys will be no pushovers.
"You always want to play your cup matches at home so I'm pleased to have been drawn at Prenton Park," he told Tranmere's official website.
"Mansfield won't be easy to beat though. They'll be full of confidence after winning the Blue Square (Bet) Premier and they'll want to come here and show what they are capable of.
"It's still a long way off and we've got the whole of pre-season and the first game in the league to get out of the way first, but we'll approach the game in the right way, be professional and hopefully earn a place in the second round."
