Attacking midfielder Andy Robinson admits it is frustrating watching Tranmere's League One season unfold from the sidelines.
The 31-year-old has been out of action since August after picking up a hamstring injury during a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Port Vale.
Speaking to Rovers' official website, he said: "I'm taking every day as it comes. I had the setback leading up to the Preston game which put me back a week or so but I'm back on track.
"To some extent I'd rather have a long-term injury, at least you know you're out for a certain length of time. But you've just got to keep on going and let's hope the rehab develops quicker.
"I want to be out there with the lads, it's very frustrating. You can't do anything from the stands."
