Tranmere boss Les Parry expects Adam McGurk to grow in confidence after his winning goal at Bournemouth at the weekend.
The striker scored his first senior goal in injury time to give Rovers a 2-1 win over the promotion-chasing Cherries.
"Adam was quite emotional when he scored," Parry told the club's official website. "It was his first goal as a professional and afterwards the lads gave him a round of applause in the dressing room.
"There was a little bit of pressure on him because he has missed a couple of chances against Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield so it was good that he banged one in, and what a goal for it to be his first."
