Leeds United outcast Andy Robinson has finally left Elland Road after having the remainder of his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The former Swansea City midfielder joined on a free transfer in the summer of 2008 and was a regular in his debut campaign for the club.
However, he has since slipped down the pecking order with his last league start for the club coming way back in May 2009 against Northampton.
The 31-year-old had one more year on his Leeds contract, but with little prospect of featuring for manager Simon Grayson he has now departed.
"In the best interests of Andy and the football club we've agreed to cancel his contract," he told the club's official website.
"It's an opportunity for him to further his career and we wish him well."
