Rotherham have had a bid for wantaway Tranmere striker Ian Thomas-Moore rejected by the League One club.
The 33-year-old, who is the son of Millers manager Ronnie Moore, is believed to have put in a written transfer request at Prenton Park in response to the offer being turned down. The Millers have been on the look-out for a new striker for much of the summer following injuries to Tom Pope and Ryan Taylor and Moore has identified his son as a target to bolster his options. Thomas-Moore, who is in his second spell with Rovers, was brought back to the club when Moore was manager there in 2008 and he has one year of his contract remaining.
