Whites midfielder left in limbo

Andy Robinson's agent has expressed his surprise at a lack of takers for Leeds United's industrious midfielder. The Whites confirmed at the end of the season that the 30-year-old former Swansea man was free to leave Elland Road. The resolute midfielder had a successful loan spell with Tranmere last term, but so far Leeds have fielded no offers. Robinson's agent Neil Sang is stunned no-one has been forthcoming and is hoping his client does not start the season at Leeds. "We've had absolutely nothing for Andy so far, no serious nibbles at all," Sang told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "I have to say I'm bemused by the lack of interest because he's a great player with plenty to offer. "It's been a quiet summer for a lot of clubs but I want to find him a deal in the Championship. "Something could come up before the season starts and that would be ideal but if not then he'll still be a Leeds player." Meanwhile, Burkina Faso international left-back Paul Koulibaly is due to join the West Yorkshire club on trial in the coming days. Simon Grayson signed Argentine defender Federico Bessone to complement the likes of Ben Parker and youngster Aidy White as the club's left-back options.
