Rochdale winger Joe Thompson has committed his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract.
The 21-year old scored six times last season to help his side gain promotion to League One.
Thompson told the club's official website: "Last season was fantastic for us and promotion is something every player wants on his CV.
"I know next season will be tough for us but I'm sure we will be okay, I'm really looking forward to it."
