Poyet lets loan duo return to Forest to train

Brighton & Hove Albion have taken goalkeeper Peter Brezovan on trial and sent loan duo Arron Davies and Matt Thornhill back to Nottingham Forest. Brezovan is currently training with the Seagulls as he continues to search for a new club following his release by Swindon Town at the end of last season. Trials at Bristol City and Crewe Alexandra failed to earn contracts, but Brighton boss Poyet is keen to give Brezovan a chance to impress. "He will be with us for a week and after that we will see," Poyet, who worked with the keeper at Swindon, told the club's official website. "He was fantastic for us at Swindon. He is very big and normally quite calm." Meanwhile, Poyet has allowed Davies and Thornhill to train with parent club Forest after the pair were sent back to the City Ground. Winger Davies and midfielder Thornhill were signed by previous Albion manager Russell Slade in the summer and were set to remain with the League One club until the New Year. They have failed to impress Poyet since he took charge three weeks ago and are now back with Forest, although Brighton will still be able to call on the players if required until their loan deals officially expire.
