Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore is preparing himself for a fight to keep hold of striker Calvin Zola in the not-too-distant future.

Zola has scored three goals in his past five appearances and is being tipped to attract the attention of clubs in the higher divisions.

Moore expects the 22-year-old to continue to progress over the coming seasons, and believes Rovers could have a top striker in the future.

"Some of the things he does in training are unbelievable. If he can bring that to the big stage then we've got a hell of a player," Moore told the club's official website.

"He's still got a bit to learn, but I'm excited about him. I think we'll have difficulty holding on to him if he progresses the way I think he can."
