Non-league ace David Fitzpatrick is being lined up for a summer move to the Football League, Sky Sports understands.
The 24-year-old has impressed at Southport and scored a stunning 30-yard goal to ensure they retained their Conference Premier status in their final home game last season.
The left-back was brought to Haigh Avenue by former boss Alan Wright and his impressive displays earned him a call-up to the England C squad.
Fitzpatrick, who is entering the final year of his contract at Southport, has clubs from League One and League Two showing a strong interest in his services.
The likes of Carlisle, Newport County, Oxford United, AFC Wimbledon and Luton Town are all thought to be admirers of Fitzpatrick and are keeping tabs on his situation.
