Cumbrians receive Miller boost

Carlisle boss Graham Kavanagh has confirmed striker Lee Miller will not be ruled out for the rest of the season.

Miller missed the goalless weekend draw at relegation rivals Tranmere amid fears he was struggling with a hernia problem. Kavanagh's squad has been hit by a string of injuries in recent weeks, but Miller could soon be back in action. "It is going to be a week to 10 days probably with Mills," said Kavanagh. "That is pretty good because if it had been a hernia, that would have been his season." Kavanagh could also be boosted by the return of winger David Amoo (hamstring), plus defenders Pascal Chimbonda (calf) and Matty Robson (back) in time for next Saturday's home game against Swindon. Skipper Paul Thirlwell returned to the side on Saturday following an eight-game absence due to a calf injury.
