Carlisle midfielder James Berrett is confident the Cumbria club will soon start to climb the League One table.
Greg Abbott's side narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season, but have slipped down to 15th place on the back of just one win in their last seven league matches.
"It just doesn't seem to be going our way at the moment," Berrett told the club's official website. "We're playing much better and if we keep doing things this way then the wins will start to come.
"The performance was there for us (in the 2-1 defeat at Brentford on Saturday) and we're disappointed with the loss, but there are positives to take.
"We're pleased with the performances as a group of players. If you go back a couple of weeks we weren't playing well and the football wasn't coming. If we can get the results to match what we're doing at the moment then it will be happy days."
Berrett added: We'll keep going this way and we know it'll change for us. You can tell with the way we're doing things that the confidence is back. Everyone wants the ball again and it's a lot easier when you play like that."
