Carlisle manager Greg Abbott has taken his fair share of responsibility for the heavy defeat to Notts County at the weekend.
The Cumbrians have slipped to 13th in the table after a 4-0 thumping condemned them to a third home league defeat of the season and Abbott is hoping his side can bounce back in Tuesday's clash at bottom-club Bury.
"It was more than three points lost," Abbott told the club's offical website. "The manner of the defeat means we lose a little bit of the momentum and the belief outside the club that we are actually a good team."
Abbott added: "We've got to go to Bury on Tuesday night and put this right. We have to roll our sleeves up and show a determination to get back to playing the game the way we can.
"As a manager, it's the same as it is for the fans. You want to see your players giving it everything and we could accuse them of that not being the case in this one.
"It isn't even a game where we can point to individuals for the mistakes they made. We've lost this as a group, from the management team to every single player in the squad, and we have to put it right as a group."
