Robson calls for improvement

Carlisle matchwinner Matty Robson says his side must improve in their opening League One match at Stevenage on Saturday.

Robson, back in his more accustomed role on the wing after spending much of last season at right-back, curled home a fine winner to sink Accrington in the first round of the Capital One Cup at the weekend, but believes a similar display will not be good enough against a side which pipped them to a play-off spot in May. "Our bread and butter is the league and Stevenage could prove to be one of the toughest games of the season," Robson told the club's official website. "We know we're not going to get the chances if we make the same kind of mistakes in possession as we made in this one. "They're very physical but that's this level of football. We just want to right the wrongs from this first game and try to make sure we get ourselves on a run."
