Carlisle defender Matty Robson has warned of the potential downfalls of an FA Cup first-round clash at non-league Alfreton next weekend.

Robson, who returned to the starting line-up in the Cumbrians' goalless draw at Exeter on Saturday, is wary of the challenge posed by Alfreton despite their lowly position in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

Robson told the club's official website: "I think a point [at Exeter] was a fair result. It keeps us in contention with the play-offs and now we can focus on the FA Cup game at Alfreton, which won't be an easy tie.

"They'll be looking to make a name for themselves as giant-killers so we'll have to make sure we keep performing to the standards we've set recently.

"We want to do well in the competition and if we put in another professional performance next Saturday, I'm sure we can get through to the next round."
