Abbott heaps praise on Cumbrians

Carlisle manger Greg Abbott poured plenty of praise on his side following their 3-0 victory at Yeovil.

The dismissal of Glovers debutant Flavien Belson on the stroke of half-time changed the game as Carlisle took advantage after the break to easy home courtesy of Liam Noble, Jon-Paul McGovern and Danny Livesey. Abbott said: "We wondered if having an extra man might count against us but things went well. We managed to get the ball from Yeovil and play it quickly. "I thought the two wide players of the three up front put in fantastic shifts. JP (McGovern) doesn't give the ball away and took his goal well and Rory Loy affected the game. There were good performances all round. "You need to be on top of your game to come down here and get a result. It was massive credit to the players."
