Bantams take duo on trial

Former Rotherham defender Jamie Green and Scottish goalkeeper Greg Fleming have become the latest trialists to join Bradford.

The duo have linked up with the Bantams in the second week of pre-season training and will attempt to impress City boss Peter Jackson. Green, 21, came through the youth ranks at the Don Valley Stadium and went on to make 66 appearances, scoring two goals for the Millers. Journeyman Fleming, 24, spent the last four months with Galway United in Ireland after leaving League 1 side Oldham in March. Jackson - who has confirmed that American trialist Steven Arau has left the club - said: "We've brought Jamie and Greg in this week to have a look at them. It is their chance to impress but if nothing happens then we shall move on."
