Thirlwell: We must bounce back

Carlisle captain Paul Thirlwell is confident his side can bounce back from the defeat to Dagenham last weekend.

The 2-0 loss put an end to the Cumbrians' brilliant run of six wins and a draw at Brunton Park but Thirlwell believes the result was a one-off and knows his side can respond against Yeovil on Saturday. "It won't be hard to pick the lads up as they're young and enthusiastic," he told the News & Star. "They will be fine, although they will be whingeing about it when we are back in training. We will put this one to bed and look forward to Yeovil. "We will be looking to bounce back, as Dagenham did against us as they came into the game on the back of a bad away record. We've just got to go to Yeovil and do everything we are capable of doing and we're looking to get a result."
