Carlisle's on-loan Manchester United midfielder Corry Evans will return to his parent club after his one-month loan spell ended.
The younger brother of United defender Johnny joined the Cumbrians last month but made just one appearance, in the 1-1 draw away at Bristol Rovers on October 30, due to illness and injury.
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club's official website: "It has been really unfortunate for all concerned that Corry picked up an injury and an illness while he was due to be with us because it has meant that we have not seen him as much as we wanted to.
"He is another young man who has come here with an excellent attitude and he was a pleasure to work with. He will now stay at Old Trafford but he is definitely one that we will continue to monitor."
