Table toppers Wycombe continue to set the pace at the top of League Two after a 2-1 win on their travels to Bristol Rovers.

Tommy Mooney gave Wycombe the lead in only the fourth minute from the penalty spot and then the same player doubled their advantage a minute after the break, before Rovers hit-man Richard Walker reduced the deficit in the 61st minute; albeit to no avail.

Leyton Orient kept their bid for promotion on course after taking maximum spoils in a 1-0 win over Notts County.

Martin Ling's side remain very much in the shake-up at the business end of the table thanks to Jabo Ibehre's strike in the 45th minute.

Grimsby too remain very much in the promotion hunt after coming from behind to beat Wrexham 2-1, with Michael Reddy (52) and Glen Downey (84) cancelling out Mark Jones' opener in the 42nd minute.

Carlisle were another side who came from behind as they responded to Blair Sturrock's opener for Rochdale, as goals from Danny Livesey on the hour mark and Michael Bridges in the 80th minute secured maximum spoils.

Stephen Gillespie was Cheltenham's hero in a 1-0 win over Shrewsbury, whilst Macclesfield continue to improve as Kevin McIntyre's goal ensured a win over Chester.

A second half Rhys Day double saw Mansfield come from behind to beat Oxford 2-1, who had earlier taken the lead through veteran striker Lee Bradbury.

Game of the day was arguably at Sincil Bank as Lincoln and Darlington fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Lincoln raced into a two goal lead through Gareth McAuley (17) and Marvin Robinson (19) but in the second period it was all Darlington as Tresor Kandol (64) and Sungu D'Dumbu (69) stole a point for the away side.

Colin Calderwood's Northampton were surprise losers on a busy day of action as The Cobblers faithful had to endure a home to defeat to midtable Peterborough, with Chris Plummer the game's only goalscorer.

Barnet push up the table after Dwane Lee's goal in the 47th minute secured a home success against Boston United.

The battle at the basement saw Torquay claim a vital three points over fellow strugglers Rushden & Diamonds with a 2-1 win at Plainmoor.

Goals from Jo-Osei Kuffour (2) and Kevin Hill (33) put Torquay in control before Rushden's Chris O'Grady (65) made for a tense finale.
